Retiring Ridgefield Firefighter, Police Officer Spent 40 Years In Service

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Ridgefield Firefighter Lt. Brian Jones officially retired Friday upon rounding out his final shift, after nearly 40 years in public service to the town, according to the Ridgefield Police Department.

Jones was a Ridgefield police officer for 10 years before becoming a firefighter, said the announcement.
