Report: Ridgefield Officer Remains On Paid Leave After Fatal Shooting

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Ridgefield police officer who shot and killed a town resident during a reported domestic dispute at the man's home on Ridgebury Road in May continues to be on paid leave while the State Police investigate, The Connecticut Post reported Friday.

The victim was Ridgefield resident John Valluzzo, 75, who founded the Military Museum of Southern New England in Danbury. The officer involved was seven-year veteran Officer Jorge Romero.
