Connecticut State Police issued an alert regarding four stolen vehicles, including a Porsche and Mercedes Benz, that have been taken from the driveways of residences in Washington Depot in Litchfield County.

According to investigators with the Washington Resident Troopers Office, at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 13, three suspects stole a dark blue 2017 Porsche Cayenne from a driveway on Calhoun Street, which had been left unlocked with a key left inside the vehicle. On Thursday, a black 2002 Mercedes Benz C240 was stolen from a Hinkle Road home, though it was abandoned down the street, police said.

Later on Thursday morning, a black 2009 Volkswagen Jetta and 2010 silver Honda Accord were both taken from a driveway on Turner Road - both of which were unlocked with the keys accessible.

“The State Police would like to remind all residents not to leave valuables in the car, but if you must, lock them up, keep them out of sight and bring the keys inside.”
