The curse probably didn't apply to the Mercedes-Benz she was driving as officers discovered it had been reported stolen out of Mount Vernon, N.Y., Stamford Police said.

Ivy Johnson, 41, of 1 New Lebanon Ave., was charged with third-degree larceny and improper reflectors.

Sgt. Jennifer Lynch said that officers noticed a Mercedes-Benz exiting the McDonald's Restaurant at 1120 E. Main St. at around 2 a.m. without working taillights.

When officers stopped the vehicle, they discovered it had been reported stolen, she said.

However, when officers began to question her, she warned them "that if they touched her property she would put a curse on them," Lynch said.

There was no information whether a curse was placed on the officers.
