RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Police are investigating several calls about criminal mischief from residents who discovered spray-paint damage throughout Ridgefield — on cars, mailboxes, signs and more.

The vandalism happened sometime overnight Wednesday or early Thursday morning, police said.

Damage was found on vehicles, mailboxes, driveway lights, and signs along several roads in town. Roads were damage was found are:

  • Caudatowa Drive
  • Ramapoo Road
  • Armand Road
  • Old Sib Road
  • Tackora Trail
  • Eleven Levels Road
  • Old West Mountain Road
  • Green Lane
  • Bennetts Farm Road

The spray paint colors were orange and pink, and police believe the damage was random. Though the damage is considerable, police did not have an exact monetary value at this time, police said.

If you have information on the incident, you are asked to call the Ridgefield Police Department at 203-438-6531 or the Anonymous Tip Line at 203-431-2345.
