Motorcyclist Charged With Going 133 mph On Route 7 In Brookfield

BROOKFIELD, Conn. – A New York motorcyclist is facing charges of reckless driving after he was clocked doing 133 mph in Brookfield on Saturday, state police said.

Andrzej Szostak, 35, of Ridgewood, N.Y., faces charges of reckless driving after police said he was clocked going 133 mph on Route 7 in Brookfield.

Andrzej Szostak, 35, of Ridgewood, blew past a state trooper on Route 7 and was passing cars on the right, state police said.

He was arrested at 1:23 p.m. by the trooper at a stop light as he tried to exit the highway in Brookfield, police said.

Szostak was released on $1,000 bond and is to appear in Danbury Court on Friday, May 13, police said.
