Firefighters Battle Brush Fire In Georgetown

WESTON, Conn. -- Members of the Weston Volunteer Fire Department were helping to fight a brush fire on Highland Avenue in Georgetown on Monday afternoon, according to Twitter.

"Weston E-2 operating as a mutual aid tanker at the brush fire on Highland Av in Georgetown," the department said via Twitter @fireweston.

The brush fire was described as large.

The department also responded to a brush fire on Sunday evening on Kellogg Hill Road.
