Danbury Police Release Photos Of Bank Robbery Suspect

DANBURY, Conn. -- Police are seeking help from the public in locating a suspect who robbed a downtown Danbury bank on Thursday morning, police said.

At about 10:25 a.m. Thursday, the Danbury Police Department responded to a confirmed bank robbery of Union Savings Bank at 226 Main St.

The suspect was a dark-skinned male, about 5-foot-10 with a husky build. He was wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

The suspect handed the teller a note and left in an unknown direction, police said. No weapon was displayed, and the suspect left with an undetermined amount of money, police said.
