RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Ridgefield police are reminding residents to lock their cars after a string of motor vehicle burglaries occurred recently in the Main Street area.

In each case, the vehicle was left unlocked and no forced entry was reported, police said.

Owners should remember to lock their cars and remove all valuables, police said. Anyone with information regarding the car burglaries is asked to contact the Ridgefield Police Department at 203-438-6531.
