RIDGEFIELD, CONN. -- Two Ridgefield police officers have been recognized for helping keep the community’s roads safe.
Victoria Ryan and Lou Caba are both 2016 recipients of the AAA Traffic Safety Award.
In addition to performing their usual patrol duties, the two officers, both certified technicians, install and inspect child passenger restraint systems.
The American Automobile Association is a federation of motor clubs throughout North America. The non-profit member service organization has 55.6 million members in the United States and Canada.
“Great job, Officers Ryan and Caba!,” said a post on the Ridgefield Police Department’s Facebook page.
