Two Connecticut men have been charged in connection with a shooting at a group of people during an argument at a bar. The incident occurred in New Haven around 2 a.m., Saturday, March 2 at the Taurus B Cafe in the area of Thompson Street and Division Divison Street. A Fairfield County town has closed all of its public schools and Town Hall after receiving early morning email bomb threats. The incident took place in Brookfield on Friday, March 8 after the Brookfield Police were notified by local media of a bomb threat at several buildings in town and employee homes, according to the Brookfield Police. Police in Fairfield County are investigating following the shooting death of an 18-year-old man found inside an apartment. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 7 in the 300 block of Olive Street. Bridgeport Police responded to the area on a report of a person shot, said Capt. UConn Student Dies After Falling From Campus Parking Garage
A UConn student died after falling from a high level of the south garage onto the pavement below. The incident occurred in Tolland County around 9:30 a.m., Thursday, March 7 at the college in Storrs. According to Stephanie Reitz, director of communications for the college, UConn police and fire personnel responded following reports of a person falling from a high level of the south garage onto the pavement. A Fairfield County woman has been charged with allegedly driving under the influence of drugs after a vehicle crash. Patricia Pamela Petraglia, age 71, of New Canaan, was found sitting in a vehicle in the driveway of a Silvermine Road residence on Monday, March 4 after leaving a crash in Darien. According to Lt.
