Sheila Nolan Primiano, 83, Of Ridgefield, Librarian

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. - Sheila Nolan Primiano of Ridgefield died Monday, Aug. 5. She was 83.

Primiano was born in Ballon,  Ireland and came to this country in 1949. Her first job in America was as a librarian at Columbia University. She moved to Ridgefield in 1974.

Primiano is survived by her children, Neil Cobelli of Scarsdale, N.Y., Julie Crocco of Yonkers, N.Y., Donna Cobelli of Ridgefield, Frank Cobelli of Ridgefield, James Cobelli of Kennesaw, Ga., Michael Cobelli of Ridgefield, and Mario Primiano Jr., Kenneth Primiano, and Michael Primiano all of Queens, N.Y. She was predeceased by her husband, Mario F. Primiano.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 2 PM in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 520 Ridgebury Rd., Ridgefield with Rev. Joseph Prince, officiating.

The family will receive friends in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield on Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Entombment in St. Mary Cemetery, Ridgefield will take place at the direction of the family.
