Richard W. LeLash, 69, Co-Founded Georgetown Consulting Group In Ridgefield

REDDING, Conn. - Richard Walker LeLash of Redding died Monday, Oct. 13. He was 69.

LeLash was born and raised in Scarsdale, N.Y., in 1945, to Joseph and Mildred LeLash. After graduating from Phillips Exeter Academy in 1963, he attended the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and in 1969 with a Master's of Business Administration.

After working in management consulting at Touche Ross & Co. and finance at PepsiCo, Inc., he co-founded Georgetown Consulting Group in Ridgefield in 1979.

LeLash is survived by his wife, Teresa (Readman) LeLash; children, Marian and Justin LeLash, all of Redding; brother, William LeLash of Eugene, Ore.; first wife, Gudrun LeLash of Essex; their sons, Derek (Althea) of Sunnyvale, Calif., Christian (Jennifer) of Dallas, Texas, and Curtis (Victoria) of La Crescenta, Calif.; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents.

There will be no calling hours. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:15 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ridgefield, with a reception to follow.
