Linda Shotkus, Founder, Owner of Lyn Evans Shop In Ridgefield

Local store owner and founder Linda Shotkus (Evans) of Weston, Mass., and Chatham, Mass., died on Thursday, May 5.

She was the founder and owner of the Lyn Evans retail clothing shops in Ridgefield and New Canaan, with five additional locations in Massachusetts.

Shotkus is survived by her husband, Stanley J. Shotkus, their daughter, Jennifer Lynn Shotkus and siblings Susan Evans and Michael J. Evans and his wife Lynne C.

She also is survived by nieces Alexandra Eisel and Christianna Jo Evans, nephew Joe Shotkus.

The funeral service will be in the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church, 207 Washington St. (Rt.16), in Wellesley, Mass., on Tuesday, May 10 at 10 a.m.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited. The interment will be private.
