RIDGEFIELD, Conn. - Ann Jepson of Ridgefield died Sunday, March 23. She was 78.
Jepson was a longtime resident of Red Oak, Iowa, where she was a school teacher for over 20 years. After moving to Ridgefield she was a long time member of the Friends of the Ridgefield Library and was instrumental in the effort to reconstruct the Ridgefield library.
Jepson is survived by her daughters, Melissa Buckwalter (Rod) of Ridgefield and Melinda Adams (Stuart) of Boulder City, Nev.; son, Jim Majure (Laura) of Des Moines, Iowa; six grandchildren; and numerous friends in both Red Oak and Ridgefield.
A celebration of Jepson’s life will be held Saturday, March 29 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Silver Spring Country Club in Ridgefield.
