RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Three roads remain closed and schools were shuttered for the second day as work crews hustled to clear downed power lines and remove trees and limbs from roadways following the windstorm that tore through the area Wednesday, according to the Ridgefield Press.
As of 3:15 p.m.,Friday, 290 customers remained without power, but most should be restored by tonight according to Eversource, said the Ridgefield Press.
The Ridgefield Press said three roads remained blocked Friday afternoon:
- 120 Peaceable St.;
- 126 Lounsbury Road;
- Saunders Lane near number 63.
