Scattered Showers Will Clear Out Of Ridgefield By Evening

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- It will be red, white, blue and gray during much of the day in Fairfield on Independence Day Saturday with cloudy skies and some scattered showers, but not a washout by any means.

After a chance of showers and light rain from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., there could still be some scattered showers at points during the afternoon. The chance of light rain continues until 7 p.m., with cloudy skies expected after that while many fireworks displays are getting started.

Saturday's high temperature of around 72 degrees will come around noon, with temperatures falling into the 60s in the afternoon.

The overnight low will be around 58 degrees under cloudy skies.
