RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – The Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association recently took occupancy of its new headquarters building, the Center for Exceptional Care, at 27 Governor St. and will celebrate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

With the Center for Exceptional Care, the association is now able to expand its services in the areas of disease prevention, nutrition education and counseling, physical therapy and caregiver support. “We are very excited to move into the Center for Exceptional Care,” said Theresa Santoro, president and CEO of the association. “This beautiful building gives us a base from which we can now offer out-patient physical therapy and increase our support to caregivers, as well as offer hands-on nutrition education and counseling in our new teaching kitchen. Additionally, RVNA can utilize the latest technologies to in order to provide excellent healthcare at home and offer preventive programs to the community.”

The RVNA Center for Exceptional Care is a health care facility designed to promote health and wellness within our communities. It will serve as the headquarters of RVNA, a non-profit health organization that provides health care at home for all ages and stages of life, as well as offer on-site preventive care, physical therapy, and healthy living programs, to 28 towns in western Connecticut.

The association also plans an open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 30. The building will be open for guided tours, and the association plans demonstrations and family-friendly activities.
