Ridgefield To Hold Annual Town Meeting Monday To Present Budgets

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. — Ridgefield will holds its Annual Town Meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Ridgefield Playhouse.

At the meeting, Ridgefield First Selectman Rudy Marconi will make a budget presentation. The Board of Education and Board of Finance will then present budget information.

A vote on capital items under $100,000 will also be held. Those items include a dump truck for the Highway Department, guardrail replacements, a mower and a pickup truck for Parks and Recreation, AED equipment, a chairlift for the Lounsbury House and equipment for the golf course.

A Public Hearing and Special Town Meeting will also be held on May 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Hall's Large Conference Room, 400 Main St. The meeting will consider and act on changes on Citations and Open Space Use.
