Ridgefield Schools Will Be Closed Wednesday With Snow Expected

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Ridgefield Public Schools will be closed on Wednesday, Nov. 26 because of the expected arrival of snow, school officials announced.

Ridgefield is expected to receive 3 to 7 inches of snow on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts 2 to 4 additional inches possible at night.

The decision effectively gives Ridgefield students a longer Thanksgiving break, as they are already getting Thursday and Friday off.
