Ridgefield Schools Change Plans, Close Wednesday Due To Icy Roads

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Students in Ridgefield have a day off after all on Wednesday, March 4.

The district first planned to open schools on a two-hour delay, but ended up closing for the day because of icy road conditions in town.

Here is the message on the website for the Ridgefield Public Schools:

"Schools are now CANCELLED for Wed. March 4 because of icy road conditions. Again, schools have to be cancelled because of icy road conditions. We apologize for the change of plans and thank you for your understanding."
