Ridgefield Parks And Recreation Looking To Hire For Pool, Child Care

RIDGEFIELD, Conn.-- If you are looking for a job, the Ridgefield Parks & Recreation Department might be just the spot for you. 

The Ridgefield Parks and Recreation Department is is currently hiring for several positions including lifeguards.

The department is currently looking to hire for several positions, including American Red Cross Certified Lifeguards; American Red Cross Certified Water Safety Instructors, a Wellness Center Attendant and a Child Care Attendant.

In addition, the department is always looking to hire lifeguards. There are part-time and full-time shifts available during the week or on the weekend. 

If you are not already certified, you can become American Red Cross certified in just six days. 

Interested applicants can sign up for the Lifeguard Training Course, which runs from Nov. 15 to Dec. 20, at the Barlow Mountain Pool, for students ages 15 or older. 

Applicants must pass a pre-course skills test in order to be eligible to participate. The skills tests will be held on Nov.14 at the Recreation Center pool with a Nov. 9 registration deadline. For details, visit ridgefieldparksandrec.org
