RIDGEFIELD, Conn. The after-school programs for the Ridgefield Parks and Recreation Department have been announced and a new bus service could make your life easier.
If your child is taking part in one of the department's after-school program regular school buses will be going to the Recreation Center after school. Parents can sign up for the service for a week or the entire 12-week session, Sept. 10 to Nov. 30. Unfortunately, Scotland Elementary School students wont be able to take part in this service.
In addition to all the after-school sports programs, there will be a full schedule of activities for children to participate in. Kindergartners to third-graders have a new option called Recreation Station, where the students participate in structured play.
A full list of the programs is available on its website .
There also are several new adult programs available, Conscious Parenting and Photography Discussed. The full list of programs is available online .
