Ridgefield Moves Money Saved This Winter To Pay For Road Paving

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- After a mild weather with few snowstorms, Ridgefield town leaders were able to save $400,000 in snow cleanup money, The Ridgefield Press says.

That money, budgeted for salt, overtime pay and snow-fighting contractors, will go instead to fixing up town roads, the Press said. They'll just add the leftover salt to their collection, The Ridgefield Press reports.
