Joaquin Will Stay At Sea, But Rain Will Linger In Ridgefield

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — While the threat of Hurricane Joaquin hitting land along the East Coast has greatly diminished due to its tracking out to sea, Fairfield County is still going to deal with rain for the rest of the weekend, according to the latest accuweather.com models.

The hurricane currently is set to miss the East Coast, but that doesn't mean it's going to be a dry weekend, as conditions won't clear up until Monday morning.

Drizzle is in the forecast for the rest of Saturday and Sunday, as temperatures will hover from a Saturday low of 48 degrees to a Sunday high of 58 degrees, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

As for Joaquin, Bermuda is likely to get plenty of rain and wind Sunday night as the hurricane will pass roughly about 150 miles off the island's shore.
