RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- It was hot, humid and sunny for most of Wednesday afternoon in Ridgefield, with just a few showers interrupting the fun for area beach-goers.

Those afternoon sun showers gave way to heavier rain throughout much of the area later in the afternoon.

Thursday's forecast called for sunny skies with temps in the high 70's, with a chance of rain after 5 p.m.

Friday is expected to be clear, and Saturday and Sunday are shaping up as perfect beach days - sunny, with temps in the 80's.
