Commission Makes Recommendations For Ridgefield's Schlumberger Area

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Schlumberger Citizens Commission has recommended that 30 acres of land purchased by Ridgefield be turned into a cultural center, according to WLAD-AM.

Among the suggestions for the area include leasing the Schlumberger theater, create an outdoor amphitheater and study the possibly of turning the old Skydome Building into a warehouse for arts or antiques, said WLAD-AM. 

A special meeting has been set for June 15 between the Board of Selectmen and Commission to review and discuss the suggestions, added WLAD-AM.
