RIDGEFIELD, Conn. - With temperatures getting steadily hotter, Ridgefield Parks and Recreation hopes that a new feature at Martin Park Beach will help everyone stay cooler.
The "Zoom Floom," an inflatable water slide, has made its appearance at the beach side. And Parks and Recreation says, "There will be more fun, more thrills, and more laughs on the beach this summer."
Martin Park Beach is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Labor Day weekend.
Members of Ridgefield Parks and Recreation can use the beach as often as they like, though day passes costing $15 for a resident, are available.
