RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Four college students from Ridgefield took to popular fundraising website Kickstarter to help realize their dream of starting their own clothing line, called Full Dice.

Matthew Ehinger, Christopher Nelson, Kevin Ford and Connor Holmes designed a line of shirts, tank tops, snap-back hats and more that express a Full Dice way of life, which they describe as "living life to the fullest, taking every opportunity that you are faced with, and generally enjoying life for what it is."

The quartet was seeking $6,000 in funding and surpassed that mark Thursday. The public can still donate to their efforts until 5 p.m. Friday.

Now that Full Dice has reached its goal, the company plans to using locally grown and produced cotton shirts, leading to sustainable products. They also hope to explore using hemp when they acquire more funding, according to their Kickstarter page.

"Sustainability is going to be the only option for companies in the future, and Full Dice wants to be well ahead of the learning curve before we are forced to adapt," the group says on the website.

As with most Kickstarter projects, donors will be rewarded with various deals, products and bonuses.
