Gift certificates and baskets arranged by local restaurants and businesses will be available for those who attend to bid on during the silent auction.
Among the items up for auction are dinner at the Melting Pot in White Plains, N.Y., including transportation there and back; New York Mets game tickets; Westport Country Playhouse tickets; and golf packages at Silver Spring Country Club and other courses in the area. Jewelry from Craig’s and Tiffany, along with “I Love Lucy” mementos will also be up for bidding.
Chairmen of the silent auction this year are Annette and Debbie Morrison. The festival is one of the oldest church fairs in the state. There will be entertainment for all ages, including music and food, games for children, a magician and more.
Books, collectibles, furniture and jewelry will be sold, and there is a white elephant sale and raffle planned. A high percentage of the proceeds will benefit local charities.
