Westport native Peter Green talks about those words -- and the battle with brain cancer that followed -- in his new book, "Cancer Crossroad."

The book, set for a late September release, will also feature Green's unique adaptive exercise program designed specifically for the needs of those going through and recovering from cancer treatment. The company is called Workout Through Cancer (WOTC).

Green's book also describes the important steps cancer patients and survivors can take to help overcome fear, stay strong, tolerate side effects, gain confidence, and own their fight to survive.

In addition, he offers a unique adaptive exercise program designed specifically for the needs of those going through and recovering from cancer treatment.

“The reason I'm here today is because of my great doctors and the workout program I developed," said Green, a former partner in a consulting company that helped companies develop and evaluate sale forces in digital and media space.

"But the reason I fought so hard was to be there for my son.”
