RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Officer Shawn Murray along with his partner Loki represent the K9 Unit of the Ridgefield Police Department. Together they patrol the streets to make sure that Ridgefield remains the safest town in Connecticut.

But they will have a very different assignment on March 9 as they take the stage at the Ridgefield Playhouse from 7 to 8:30 p.m. to take part in the Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association's fifth annual spelling bee.
