Spray Bay And Martin Beach In Ridgefield Open This Weekend

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Though the weather this weekend might not be ideal for frolicking in the water and lounging on the beach, Ridgefield residents will still have the opportunity to do so if they wish when the Spray Bay and Martin Park Beach open for the summer.

Both amenities open up for the season on Saturday, May 27. The Spray Bay, a 2,800-square foot water playground at the Recreation Center, will be open until Sept. 3, while the Martin Park Beach will be open until Sept. 4.

The Recreation Center will be closed Monday for Memorial Day, but the Martin Park Beach will be open and offering free entry for Ridgefield residents.

Martin Park will normally be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Memberships are available for residents and non-residents.

Spray Bay will be open on weekends through June 18, and then open daily after June 21. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. on weekends. Play time is included with a Family Recreation or Family All-Inclusive Membership, or others may pay a $10 per person drop in rate.
