The grant was awarded through the "Arts Catalyze Placemaking-Supporting Arts in Place Program."

The grant from the DECD will help fund Playhouse programs, including the Outreach Program that enables the Playhouse to offer free tickets to thousands of individuals each year as well as to schools and other nonprofit organizations.

“Providing individuals, both young and old, with the opportunity to enjoy the arts is priceless,” said Allison Stockel, executive director of The Ridgefield Playhouse. “We are deeply grateful for the support and assistance from the Department of Economic and Community Development.”
