RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- No woods, no problem. Ridgefield residents who have no place to discard their fresh Christmas trees can arrange for a pickup up by local Boy Scouts.

Troop 116 will pick them up and on Jan. 7 and take them to the Ridgefield Transfer Station for recycling into mulch.The mulch will be used in the spring on Main Street.
