RIDGEFILED, Conn. – The Wizards of Winter are performing two shows at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 3 and 7:30 p.m.
An 11-member ensemble will perform the Trans Siberian Orchestra’s greatest hits such as “Christmas Eve in Sarajevo,” “Mad Russian” and “Christmas in the Air,” as well as music from its rock opera, "Tales Beneath a Northern Star," which blends heavy metal and progressive rock with the sounds of the holidays.
The ensemble will also utilize stage theatrics to create a storyboard to complement the music.
Tom Tom’s Restaurant and Bakery at 417 Main St. in Ridgefield will pour a free glass of house wine with dinner on the night of this show when tickets are presented.
Tickets are $45 each. VIP Party Passes cost $70 each and include a cocktail party from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. with open bar, hors-d’oeuvre and priority parking.
