Wilton Historical Society Reaches Out In Friendship To Honor MLK Day

WILTON, Conn. -- The Great Trains Holiday Exhibit at the Wilton Historical Historical Society will come to the end of the line on Monday, Jan. 16, Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

A "Hands of Friendship" workshop will be held at the Wilton Historical Society on Monday, Jan. 16, as part of its Martin Luther King's Day celebration.

The show will be open from noon to 4 p.m. It will include a free "Hands of Friendship" drop-in workshop from 1 to 3 p.m. 

The workshop demonstrates that people of all colors are part of one family, organizers said. They will be creating outstretched hands, representing diversity in the world. Visitors can enjoy cake as the Society bids farewell to the train show.

Admission to Great Trains Holiday Exhibit is free for all children and Wilton Historical Society members. The fee for non-members is $10.
