“Thirteen is a significant number in Judaism,” said Cantor Deborah Katchko-Gray. “The numbers of 13 add up to equal the word ahava- love. This is the year of love for the chorale to share in our music!”

The performance will be the 13th year Cantor Katchko-Gray and Gigi Van Dyke have collaborated to mix prayer with traditional spirituals.

The service is in honor of the memory of Martin Luther King Jr. and begins at 7 p.m.

Singers from the community can join the service with a rehearsal on Jan. 10 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. For more information and to have music reserved, contact cantordebbie@gmail.com.
