RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Volunteers are needed for the 6th Biennial Ridgefield Holiday House Tour on Friday, Dec. 4.
This year's tour, sponsored once again by Tiger Hollow Inc., will feature five Ridgefield homes, plus the newly renovated Lounsbury House. Volunteers are needed at the homes on the day of the tour to guide visitors, as well as to facilitate parking.
The schedule allows for a morning or an afternoon shift (9 a.m. to noon or noon to 3 p.m.) and as a volunteer, your house tour ticket can be purchased at a discounted price of $30 marked down from $55 in advance and $60 at the door.
This year's tour proceeds will help to build stands and an announcer’s box at the new Tiger Hollow II field. Tiger Hollow was built totally by private donations and is not owned or operated by the Town of Ridgefield. The house tour is the main fundraising event for Tiger Hollow, which continues to depend upon volunteers, private donations and fundraising. In addition to sports, the facility is also used for Relay for Life events and the annual Ridgefield 4th of July celebration. Click here to register as a volunteer.
