Ridgefield's Cellar XV Hosts Wine Tasting To Support Warrior Hike

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Cellar XV’s 12th anniversary “Cheers to Charity for Warrior Hike” will be held on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in front of the store at 86-88 Danbury Road.

More than 50 wines will be offered with entertainment provided by the Angry O’Haras. Catering will be provided by Bernard’s Restaurant and Dimitri’s. Commemorative glasses will be given to the first 150 ticket holders.

“It’s our way of saying thank you to the community for supporting us,” says owner Doug Thompson. “And this year we are honored to support our veterans. We know we prepare our soldiers for war, and now we’d like to help combat veterans decompress from that effort and come to terms with their wartime experiences upon their return. Our nonprofit recipient ‘Warrior Hike- Walk Off the War’ does just that!”

All ticket profits will be donated to Warrior Hike to support its work to help combat servicemen and servicewomen transition from military to civilian life.
