RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Ridgefield Woman’s Club will host its 45th annual Craft Fair on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at East Ridge Middle School.
The show includes 100 juried crafters and light refreshments. Proceeds benefit Ridgefield and surrounding communities. Adult admission is $8. Children under 12 are free.
Visitors to the show will have an opportunity to win prizes at the Take-A-Chance table, featuring a host of handmade items donated by generous crafters.
The Womans Club voted to donate all the revenue from this table to the fuel assistance program provided through the Ridgefield Emergency Fund. This fund meets the needs of financially afflicted residents especially in need as the cold winter months begin to put pressure on many budgets. The fund relies completely on donations to serve the community’s needy citizens.
Among the items available from crafters will be pet and children’s gifts, food items, home decorations, holiday gifts, knits and quilt items, jewelry and pottery. There are numerous items priced for children.
Ridgefield Woman’s Club was founded in 1966 by a small group of Ridgefield women wanting to make a difference in the community in which they lived. The Ridgefield Woman’s Club is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC), one of the largest international organizations of volunteer women in the world.
