The event was held Friday and Saturday with events at Ballard Park, along Main Street and at the Ridgefield Playhouse.
The event was marred when three people suffered cuts and bruises when a kids' train tipped over at about noon Saturday during the street fair off Bailey Avenue, the Ridgefield Press reported.
A boy, a man and a woman suffered minor injuries, the report said, in the accident and were taken to the hospital for treatment. (Read the full story here on the accident.)
Events included music, dancing, art, movies and relics from the '60s. Vendors sold art, collectibles and kids items as well as a variety of food. Ridgefield’s merchants showcased photos, merchandise and décor from the era.
Main Street was closed from Bailey to CVS during the festivities, with an entertainment pavilion set up at Main and Bailey, with singers providing music highlighting the sounds of the '60s.
