The classes are taught by “The Clay Lady” Michelle Beyman.

Working with clay helps students develop dexterity, visual awareness and creativity. By nurturing your artistic self, you will feel calm and relaxed. Kick back, sip your coffee/tea and sculpt a special vase, mug or decorative piece in the Coffee ‘NClay class available on Monday mornings.

Discover the joys of working with clay in the ClayAway Your Day class available on Monday evenings.

ClayPlay at the Rec is for children in kindergarten through second grade. Each week there is a new theme, and projects may include “Chef Clay” meals, favorite characters, animal bowls, holiday decorations and more. Classes are available Thursdays after school.

Students in third through fifth grade will become ceramicists in the ClayAlong with Michelle classes available Tuesdays after school.

Materials are included for all classes, and no experience is necessary. Each class will experiment with different hand-building clay forms, including pinch pots, coils, slabs, reliefs and tiles.
