Ridgefield Prepares For Fourth of July Fireworks

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Town of Ridgefield will hold its annual fireworks display on Monday, the Fourth of July, at Ridgefield High School.

The event is sponsored by Fairfield County Bank.

The festivities will begin at 6 p.m. The fireworks will start at dusk.

Parking will be available at Ridgefield High School, Barlow Mountain and Scotland Elementary Schools.

Shuttle buses will be provided to and from Barlow Mountain and Scotland Elementary.

Handicapped parking will be available at the high school.

Grills and alcohol are prohibited at the event.

Admission will not be allowed without a parking pass.

Passes are $20, and can be purchased by cash or check at Fairfield County Bank, Ridgefield Town Hall and the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce.

All proceeds will go to the Family Fourth Committee.

Refunds will not be issued in the event of the fireworks' cancellation.

The rain date for the event is July 5.
