RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Boehringer Ingelheim has granted $5,000 to the Ridgefield Playhouse for its May 16 “Bubblemania” event.
“Bubblemania” fosters interest in science by bringing an engaging and high quality performance directly to students and their teachers.
“With the help of this generous grant, the Playhouse is able to make great educational programming such as 'Bubblemania' available at the nominal ticket price of $10 so that principals, teachers and students alike can benefit from a performing arts experience that makes learning fun,” said Ridgefield Playhouse Executive Allison Stockel. "In this particular science-based show, the power of the theater arts blends with the wonders of scientific experiment and exploration."
The program is a part of the Arts in Education Program from Boeringer Ingelheim that provides free tickets to children, individuals, families, nonprofit organizations and schools to make the performing arts experience possible.
Schools and teachers are encouraged to purchase tickets early. For more information, or to purchase tickets visit the Playhouse website or call 203-438-5795.
