RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- In the world of video games, tens of millions watch others play online and professional gamers compete in eSports tournaments, such as the Intel Extreme Masters.
The Ridgefield Playhouse will present the gaming documentary "All Work All Play: The Pursuit of eSports Glory Live" in HD at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
“The big events are already bigger than the biggest events in sports,” said Kevin Lin, chief operating officer of video game streaming platform Twitch.
Following the 90-minute film, there will be a panel discussion with Michal "Carmac" Blicharz, Managing Director of Pro Gaming at Turtle Entertainment GmbH and an All-Star showdown between the Joes and the Pros live out of the ESL studios in Burbank, Calif.
