The performance will cap off a special night at the playhouse, as an Evening of Art, Wine & Jazz features an art exhibit and exhibition along with a wine tasting, starting at 6:45 p.m.

First Selectman Rudy Marconi will also present a dedication to past Ridgefield Playhouse board member Kitty Rosa's family onstage before the show, which includes a town proclamation and announcing the creation of the Kitty Rosa Preservation Fund.

The fund will go toward preserving and maintaining the playhouse's building, celebrating Rosa's passion for the arts and her history with the organization.

The wine and cheese will be provided by No. 109 Cheese & Wine, and the art exhibit and reception will celebrate the work of painter Carmelo Blandino, who uses oil and canvas in his work.

The evening will be capped off by performances by 11-piece ensemble Funky Dawgz Brass Band and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, one of Rosa's favorite acts, starting at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $50 in the orchestra and $45 in the mezzanine or balcony.

To purchase tickets, call 203-438-5795, visit the playhouse box office, or go online to ridgefieldplayhouse.org.
