RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – The Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce will host its next Health and Wellness Council meeting at 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at Saltana Cave, 590 Danbury Road (Route 35).
Guest speaker Anna Husted, principal owner of Saltana Cave, will discuss the benefits of restoring health through alternative and natural therapies, according to a press release.
Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the healing properties of the Himalayan salt rock cave and relax in the zero-gravity lounge chairs.
The Health and Wellness Council is a group of health and wellness professionals who are members of the chamber.
The group will discuss upcoming chamber opportunities, including the Destination Wellness Health & Wellness Expo in November.
The mission of the council is to foster health and wellness initiatives in the community, support and educate businesses and residents about healthy lifestyle options, and encourage collaboration with other councils and committees to make for a better Ridgefield, according to a press release.
