Ridgefield Artist To Unveil 'Fair Days' At Danbury Museum

DANBURY, Conn. --  Artist and Ridgefield native Thom Montanari will unveil his latest painting, “Fair Days,” the long awaited follow-up to his last fair-inspired work, “Danbury Racearena – Remember When," Saturday at the Danbury Museum & Historical Society.

Full-color, limited-edition prints measuring 33 inches by 26 inches with a white border and signed, titled and numbered will be on sale; all of the prints come with a certificate of authenticity.

The entire edition consists of 681 prints, the first 81 of which are the artist proofs; also all signed, titled and numbered.

The Danbury Museum & Historical Society has been integral in the planning and creation of the painting, according to a release from the society. A percentage of the sale of every print is being donated to the museum by the artist, the release said.
