RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Ridgefield Playhouse stage will transform into an ice rink as Winter Solstice Ice Spectacular presents some of the world’s most accomplished figure skaters on Saturday, Feb. 21.

The show features a cast of the most accomplished and highest-level skaters in the business. Adagio pair teams perform throws, death drops and overhead lifts that will bring the audience members to their feet. Soloists will also impress with amazing jumps, fast spins and spectacular tricks.

And, if you visit Dimitri's Diner, at 16 Prospect St., in Ridgefield, either before or after the show and enjoy 10 percent off your bill when you show your ticket.

This is part of the Ridgefield Academy Family Series. Future shows include the music of Michael Jackson in "The Spirit of Michael," on Friday, March 4, the acrobatics of the New Shanghai Circus on Sunday, March 6, and to "Seussical the Musical," on Saturday, April 9. The media sponsor for the series is Danbury's 98Q, and support for this series comes from Books on the Common.
